Celebrating Our Scholars in 2020-2022

Helping our friends around the world achieve their dreams with education

We are always so happy to support and show our amazing students. Despite intense hardship, loss, and adversity, we are constantly amazed at the determination and perseverance of students around the world. Education is one of our programmatic pillars at Aspire to Dream, and we are always looking for enthusiastic students around the world who need a helping hand and an open heart to support.

Chinh Er

Always going above and beyond at every opportunity she can, Chinh Er exceeds her peers by margins. She is studying french so that she can help her parents immediately after graduating, fueled by her desire to help the sick as both of her parents are ill and are unable to work.

Never without a smile, Chinh Er is a beam of light to everyone she meets.

Lonh

Humble, disciplined and diligent just begin to describe Lonh. He is a huge help at his church, where he's always volunteering.

Lonh has no parents to support him, so scholarships are the only way He can have an opportunity to study to become a lawyer.

Ravy

Ravy has dreams to become a professional architect so that He can help his family and community.

His father is unable to keep a job and his mother doesn't make enough to support him and his siblings.

Phoung

She is a dedicated law/economics student working another job to support her education.

She is in her last year of university and we are highly proud of her accomplishment in being the very 1st person in her family to finish school (her cousins and siblings had to go into construction to support their family)

Samnang

Samnang is the oldest of 3 siblings, and has a desire to start his own business so that He can help out his family. His mom is a housewife and his father is serving in the Cambodian military, of whom can only support his education until high school.

Hong

As the older brother of Chinh Er, he also wants to provide a way to help his sick parents. Today, he works at a microfinance business in their province while studying management at university.

He is an excellent student, determined to achieve his dreams and graduate so that he may bless others.

Lina

We are thrilled to say that Lina is our very first student to graduate! When we met her years ago, she wanted to be an English teacher but did not speak it very well.

Today, she is is a English Literature graduate and teachers at college. We're so proud!

Pha

Like many of our students, Pha lives in poverty and thus, simply wasn't given opportunities to continue her education for a while.

Today, she continues her primary education with the ultimate goal of one day becoming a chef.

Somreach

All of our students have a passion for something, and Somreach's passion is for agriculture. His dream is to graduate university and create jobs for local farmers and fisheries.

His older brother works as a security guard with his father at the same company, of which don't make enough to support university.

Kunnitha

Sadly, a lot of our students have experienced difficult hardships. Kunnitha lives with her aunt since her mother died in 2019. The youngest of three siblings, her father has no capacity to send her to school, so she has stay with her auntie and work in an IT company to support her schooling.

Sem

As the 7th of 8 kids, it can be difficult to have enough money leftover for education. Their mom is a farmer, and cannot support her aspirations to become a English Major.

Sem is one of our hardest working students, incredibly disciplined and focused scholar.
