Why We Do What We Do
Mission & Purpose
“We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us” - 1 Thessalonians 2:8
We are a growing group of people that love our unreached, underprivileged, and invisible neighbors to share our lives with them, as well as our wallets.
We envision a different kind of charity. Building bonds. Long form partnership. We believe that true and lasting change takes work and time. Which is why we walk side by side with the ones who need it most. Sharing ideas, life and love as well as money, to bring about true and lasting change. Investing in the future by investing in the people who will make the future.

Our History
The story of the Aspire to Dream Foundation is circular, ending with where they began. Our founders, Marycel grew up in the rural farmlands and Rodeo on the dirty shores of the Philippines. They know what it's like to be a student, to be kicked out of school because his family ran out of money for the week. They know what it's like to live on scraps and feel like there is no hope or help around them. But through determination and inspiring perseverance, they made themselves a way to get to America.
Many years later, on a trip back to their Philippine home towns, they saw themselves in the people walking along the street, children begging for money, and the vendors doing everything they can just to get to the end of the week. This is how the Aspire to Dream Foundation began.
The Hernandez's wanted to give back and support and bring hope to people who reminded them of themselves 20 years ago. But this is not the end of their story, we are at the precipice of all that is to come.
I hope you join us in this story.
