Taal Volcano Eruption: Supporting Communities in Crisis

Our hearts sank when we heard of the volcanic eruption in the Philippines.

Volcanic Eruptions are not something that you hear about everyday.

The volcanic erupted on the 12 of January in 2020. It suspended school classes, work schedules and flights. The smog from the explosion stretched far from the focal point, covering neighborhood cities like Calabarzon and Metro Manila. 450,000 were affected and 70 thousand had to evacuate. The home that they once had was reduced to smog, ashes, and smoke.

We wanted to help. Aspire to Dream Foundation in partnership with  a local church based in Laguna. We provided some evacuees drinking water and basic sanitation and essential supplies.

Our hearts go out to the ones affected. And we pray that they can rebuild.
